A few pieces of work to inspire you, I hope.

DAY ONE We start at 10am for a coffee and an introduction in plate making.

After coffee I would discus with you what you'd like to make and show you different techniques and designs so that you can get inspired.

At 1pm we'd stop for lunch prepared by me. Let me know if you have any dietary requests.

After lunch we would put our aprons on and. I will teach you how to hand build your plate and mug. Bring your aprons.
Day one you would make the pieces to be bisque fired, this I would do, so that when you come back a week later for the final morning you will have your pieces ready to decorate.​

DAY TWO We start at 10am to discuss the decoration you'd like to do, I have lots of reference books, we would sketch a few ideas on paper first. Bring a sketch book.

When you are happy with the design I will show you how to glazes and paint your pieces finishing around 1pm
After you have decorated the piece I would do the final fireing then you can either come back and pick them up or I can post when cooled .

The plate making course costs £550 per person for one and a
half days.
There is a cost for extra plates you may want to decorate, I have lots of blanks.
